Steps to Add Edit Button in Report According to User Access Role, User Authentication, Part-7

In today's post I will try to show you how to Add Edit Button in Report According to User Access Role. I hope you can easily use user authentication for your Oracle Apex application using the SQL code provided by me.

1. I went straight to my previously created report page.
2. Enter the SQL query of the report

                    CASE
                         WHEN (select u.USER_TYPE FROM MY_USERS u 
                         WHERE UPPER(u.USERNAME) = UPPER(:APP_USER))  = 1 THEN
                        'Edit'
                    ELSE ''
                         END EDIT
                
2. Go To Edit Column
    Type- Link
    Target-Select the number and item of your target page.
    Link Text- #Edit#
    Link Attributes- style="width:100%; font-size: 1.3rem;text-align: center;" class="button button3" type="button"
