Install APEX 20.2. DB 19. ORDS Installation on Tomcat

 

Install Oracle Database 19c

1. Download Oracle Database 19c software for Windows
2. Download Oracle Apex 20.2
3. Download Ords 20.2
4. Download apache-tomcat-9.0.37
5. Download jdk-15.0.1 

6. unzip the package then copy it to the root of your disk;
7. rename the folder, choose a shorter name (eg. db_home);
8. then launch the setup. 

9. Select- Create and configure a single instance database 

10. Select- Dextop class 

11. Select- Use Windows Built-in Account 

12. Select- Yes 

13. Enter the password of your choice 

14. Select- Yes 

15. Click- Install 

Database installation complete

Install Oracle APEX 20.2 Ords, Tomcat 

1. unzip the Apex 20.2 and ords File;
 Install Apex 20.2, Ords, Tomcat. Complete Guide.....................

1. Open this SQL PLUS..................... 

SYS/SYS@ORCL AS SYSDBA
	SHOW pdbs;
	show parameter sga;
	ALTER SYSTEM SET MEMORY_TARGET = 5000M SCOPE=SPFILE;
	SELECT name, open_mode
	FROM v$pdbs;
	ALTER PLUGGABLE DATABASE ORCLPDB SAVE STATE;
	shut immediate;
	exit

2. Open agen SQL PLUS..................... 

SYS/SYS AS SYSDBA
	startup
	show parameter sga;

3. Open this Command.....................

CD apex_20.2
	CD apex
	D:\apex_20.2\apex
	E:\db_home\bin\sqlplus.exe /nolog
	CONN SYS/SYS@ORCLPDB AS SYSDBA
	CREATE TABLESPACE apex DATAFILE 'E:\db_home\app\oradata\ORCL\orclpdb\apex.dbf' SIZE 1000M AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 1M;
	@apexins.sql sysaux sysaux temp /i/
	@apxchpwd.sql
	@apex_rest_config.sql
	ALTER USER APEX_LISTENER  ACCOUNT UNLOCK identified by jaber0181;

4. install java App

5. install Tomcat App

6. install ORDS App

Open this Command.....................

CD ords
D:\ords
	
"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-15.0.1\bin\java" -jar ords.war uninstall

"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-15.0.1\bin\java" -jar ords.war install advanced

Enter the default tablespace for ORDS_METADATA [SYSAUX]: (Prss Enter)
Enter the temporary tablespace for ORDS_METADATA [TEMP]: (Prss Enter)
Enter the default tablespace for ORDS_PUBLIC_USER [USERS]: (Prss Enter)
Enter the temporary tablespace for ORDS_PUBLIC_USER [TEMP]: (Prss Enter)
Enter 1 if you wish to start in standalone mode or 2 to exit [1]:  (Prss Enter)

7. Go to the Apex folder and copy the Apex image folder

8. Go to C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 9.0_Tomcat-service\webapps and paste the copied folder (Apex image folder) Rename the image folder and type i

9. Go to the ords folder and copy the ords file

10. Go to C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 9.0_Tomcat-service\webapps and paste the copied folder (ords file)
